It made it here, barely.

When I entered the origin and destination (USA to South Africa) and the weight of the parcel (1.84 lbs), ParcelMonkey quoted me ~$91 for 1-3 day international delivery. When I chose that option and entered all the details, the final price went up to $151. I paid the price because I needed the package to arrive as soon as possible. I was only going to be at the delivery address for another 2 weeks and after that there would be nobody to receive it. The package did arrive in time, but only just. It was delivered the evening before I had to leave the country. I was so relieved, but it was stressful waiting for 2 weeks, wondering if it would arrive, or if that $151 was a total waste, not to mention the valuable contents within.
3 stars because they got the job done, but charged far too much, and underdelivered on the promised "1-3 day" service.

Package handled so roughly that padded things inside were shattered.

The package was delivered to the recipient and in other shipments, everything has been fine. This time, when the recipient opened the box, things inside were damaged and broken, as though the box had been dropped from a great distance. This is very surprising because In preparing the materials, I ensured that everything inside was snug and anything sort of fragile (nothing was really fragile) was wrapped with bubble wrap. I know this isn't Parcel Monkey's issue (because Parcel Monkey is fantastic) but the handlers along the way.

Customs Delays and duty fees

A review of 3 because I am feeling generous. My package arrived quickly as scheduled but was detained in customs for a full week. Upsetting because the package contained a paper pattern that has zero value to anyone but myself. The value declared of $10 and then after the delivery delay, I received a $25.00 customs fee... after the $70.00+ shipping fee. Is this the norm and what everyone else shipping from the US to India is experiencing?

Very slow, contracts delivery in NZ to Aramex

Not recommended for packages to NZ. My item arrived to New Zealand perfectly fast but spent a long time at their partners facility before eventually being cleared by customs. Worst of all they contract to Aramex, the slowest and most unreliable courier service instead of NZPost, who took forever to deliver it, despite paying top dollar for a 3 day service. If you need a fast and reliable delivery use DHL but UPS is good for low value items if the price is right and it isn’t urgent or particularly important.
